The first scene was filmed at Arches National Park in eastern Utah. I like how this movie explained his phobia and Harrison Ford's chin scar. What is kind of funny is Sean Connery is only 12 years older than Harrison Ford. I like how they made Elsa a conflicted antagonist who obviously wasn't fully invested in the cause she was a part of and gladly turned towards the end, but got consumed by her obsession. Indy 4 has some great moment and some pretty poor moments. It has some sci-fi elements, but I don't understand why people took issue with that when we were dealing with religious artifacts that had magical powers. Indy 5 I liked, but it is easily in my 4th place spot considering how much stronger the initial trilogy were.
