That damn robot is pulling a Wall-E and making me cry. I more look at the Luthan and Saw scene as Luthan is admitting that he values Saw and the only way to get him to change his mind in going was to lay the cards out on the table. Saw could accept the big picture or not. Of course, I think this further leads Saw down his paranoia path at Rogue One. Getting the Imperials to max out the tractor beam so the counter measures shredded the front dish was excellent.
