Don't make it popular. I did not watch this video because it is stupid suggestion. I thought this thing relate to middle east. with costume and stuff. Not toward indian.

When there is Asian Hate in USA, then people are so vocal about it. Where as when they target Indians - hardly anyone gives a shit about them. Including the Indian government. So, Indian diaspora should look-out for themselves. Even though the immigrants from India have the lowest crime rates in any country they move to.

Personally, I found it to be weird and cringey than offensive; maybe showing Lord Ganesha at the end was the only thing I could think of that could be offensive.

This is just a cringe song and video. To me, it just looked like slapstick humor which fell flat. But nothing really seemed offensive.

To start with, they have made this whole video about turning everything into curry and the lyrics indicate that Indians don't want to keep any other food and they will make everyone eat curry, which is obviously not true. Also, a lot of it has to do with the current situation in India. People are already frustrated, some are losing their loved ones. Obviously nobody would stay silent when the content gets presented as a joke which is full of ignorance and in a way , stupid. Now, maybe that was the whole plan that to make it look stupid for humour. To be honest, it was not even funny. Full of weird things. As Jaby said Japanese humour is weird and others might not get it but they had to keep in mind that ultimately the video was for Indians so they fell short in thinking from that point of view. and I don't know why somebody will dance naked if they failed to turn everything into curry lol.😅
