That this site was founded on leap day 2020 makes so much sense, about when reality really started to clearly unwind.

2024-08-05 10:26:10 +0000 UTCI loved the Herculoids growing up! One of my all time favorites. But this reminded me of something: Somehow, through some strange, occult coincidence, no Hotdogger has yet even mentioned, much less covered, The Inhumanoids, the single greatest animated achievement of the 1980's. It was the penultimate creation of the team behind GI Joe and Transformers and, when the show ended up canceled despite putting up objectively huge numbers, they went full Animal House. And when I say "Full Animal House", I mean that Inhumanoids has the honor of being the only major Saturday morning cartoon show who's main villain canonically fucked the Statue Of Liberty. So, an Inhumanoids episode needs to happen. Because that is NOT the craziest thing they got up to.

2024-08-01 01:30:05 +0000 UTCI thought How to Dodge a Cannonball was coming out this July. I’ve been checking Amazon every couple weeks for months to see if it’s available for preorder yet. Are we best friends or am I just sad? It’s so hard to tell anymore.

2024-08-01 00:50:13 +0000 UTCIn the early 1970s, there was a cartoon about a caveman family (I'm not talking about the Flintstones). This cartoon caveman family was like the Waltons. If you know what the Waltons are, you know they SUCKED. The Waltons Super sucked! Anyway, this 70s cartoon caveman show needed some Herculoids, bad! Luckily the Herculoids was being repeated on the local independent channel. Thank god for channel 11, or 30, or both, over time.

2024-07-31 20:12:01 +0000 UTCDespite my age, I'm just now realizing Herculoids is responsible for about 50% of all Man...or Astroman? samples.

2024-07-31 16:38:27 +0000 UTCI always loved discovering Hanna-Barbera superheroes back in the early days of Cartoon Network - a bird-guy with an eagle? Awesome! Conan with a lightsaber? Fuck yeah! A caveman with a club that gives him He-man powers and a mask with horns? YES! YES! YES!

2024-07-31 15:39:11 +0000 UTCIs there a higher tier we can donate at than Supreme? Because if you offered extra Herculoid content on a regular basis you could name your price.

2024-07-31 15:33:35 +0000 UTCIt’s so hilarious that some of the actual clips of villain dialogue sound like Seanbaby doing impressions of them. Like, exactly. I recently tried to do Dr. Claw for my podcast and it’s HARD
