Directed by Farhan Akhtar, Lakshya is about an aimless, jobless, irresponsible grown man joins the army and matures into a battlefield hero. It is one of the best performances of Hrithik Roshan, as a aimless young man and later on an army officer. It is a coming-of-age story set against a fictionalized backdrop of the 1999 Kargil War.
