The Library Story 0.95. Release Date

Hi friends!

A little about our plans. The most important plan is: that after the current headline “LS 0.95 release date” you could finally play this very version 095 :D. In fact, on this news could be ended by these words and and go to the dates...

The Library Story 0.95 release for patrons: May 29, 2020 *

Public release: June 12, 2020

... However, after announcement about dates, we still add some details. We could schedule the release around 20th of May, because the rest of the work is being worked according to plan so far... But let us this time, set the deadline, which we won't rush missing bugs or violate. In the end, after all these postponement, a few extra days for testing LS will definitely not hurt.

If we talk about the conclusions... It is already obvious that we haven't  estimated correctly both the amount of work and our capabilities on this work on the current LS version.

Therefore, we will change the approach of work on our game.

First of all, the volume of further versions will change (they'll become smaller), hence, the terms: these smaller versions will be able to be released more often. Secondly, now we're about to make the basic content for the new version at the beginning (the one without which the release is impossible), and only after that to supple it with secondary storylines and quests.

This will give us the opportunity to release the new version on time in any case, even if we didn't manage to prepare secondary materials.

Additionally, we don't intend to refuse to set exact dates of releases, but we will announce them more careful.

However, more detailed message about all this we will write after the release of 0.95. In the meantime, back to work.
