Before i saw this episode i had only ever seen tarring and feathering in cartoons and played for laughs so it never registered with me just how much it would hurt.

2023-01-10 04:58:58 +0000 UTCHi Evie, Oh, it’s so difficult seeing Jamie and Murtagh on opposite sides. Jamie torn between being bound to “king and country” and then trying to protect Murtagh and his men. I must say that I was shocked to see Murtagh burn those men with tar when I first watched this episode. I just started reading this book and I’m looking forward to see the differences since Murtagh isn’t there in the book. Remember when Marsali was first introduced and you didn’t like her and we said “you will come to like Marsali” Because we knew you would. I also love that scene of Claire and her and they only get closer. When Roger saw Brianna’s drawings and then saw Jemmy walking, I think it reminded him that Jemmy might not be his son. Yes, Bonnet is crazy and now that he knows about Jemmy, he’s thinking of himself as a father, so what are his plans. Oh Evie… “can’t we just have peace” Well, this IS Outlander.

2023-01-09 18:32:18 +0000 UTCThis episode starts to set up many of the coming conflicts between nearly everyone in the colony of North Carolina - BUT MANY MORE CONFLICTING (and Viciously Dangerous) GROUPS HAVE YET TO ENTER THE FRAY! So your plea for "PEACE", while the best thing you could ask for Evie, is unfortunately - Definitely the One Thing that is "NOT" Coming! Evie, just know that EVERYONE on Fraser's Ridge will be sorely tested in the remainder of this season of conflict!
