Aside from getting to see Jo again (yay! and 😭) I think it does a great job of showing how Dean CONTINUOUSLY takes on the guilt and responsibility for everything bad that happens around him. He'll always blame himself. I think that comes from the trauma of being raised the way he was, having SO much responsibility heaped onto his shoulders at such a young age. So, now it's just ingrained in him, an instinctual thing, to take on all the guilt. It's heartbreaking to me. 💔😔 I think you're absolutely right that he feels a bit of guilt for killing Amy, but most of the guilt he feels in regards to her, is because he's lying to Sam about it. But like I said, as he does with everything, he took on the responsibility and guilt of killing a monster that he knew Sam couldn't kill, and now, he's not telling Sam cause he's trying to spare him the knowledge that she's dead, at least partly because he knows Sam is still dealing with all the hallucinations and crap and he doesn't want to add stuff to the pile of awful that Sam is dealing with. It's not a good idea, keeping this stuff from Sam, it never is, but I understand why Dean is doing it, and it falls in line very well with his character - take on all the burdens and watch out for Sammy at all costs. The next episode isn't really a favourite of mine, but it has two guest stars that I think you'll be excited to see. 😉
