Evie I almost choked when I saw that you had to look up measles! I'm 74 years old and having measles as a child was sort of a rite of passage for everyone of my generation. Having it as an adult is another matter and I know that children died of it before the vaccination was developed. Anyway, this was another great reaction. Have patience, Bree will get there eventually.

2022-12-26 20:08:18 +0000 UTCI was drawn to rewatch this one (not normally, but this one, ya) I'm struck by the range of emotions in the show and the reaction and felt compelled to say, I too, can not wait for a special reaction to a special scene in a muddy ally behind a general store with a follow-up in the main street afterward. Ya... can't wait.

2022-11-07 10:41:11 +0000 UTCHey Evie, I loved that we see Claire knitting in the montage of her at their cabin, that means Ian taught her just like he said he would. I love that they brought Murtagh back and your reaction was similar to mine. I recognized his voice, but was afraid Jamie would miss him. Thank goodness he overcharged Ian which forced Jamie to confront him. When Jamie first sees him, he says “goistidh”(ghost-gee) which means Godfather. We haven’t seen Murtagh since they were in prison together and then Lord John sent Jamie to Helwater and Murtagh was sent to the colonies. We all know that in the book, he died at Culloden, but the show creators loved the actor, Duncan Lacroix, and didn’t want to waste this opportunity to bring him back, plus it provides more drama with him and Jamie since he is with the Regulators. I also love that Jamie has someone who he can talk to about Brianna. It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years since Claire and Murtagh went searching for Jamie when he got caught by the Redcoats… geez… 25 years! You summed this episode perfectly about Herr Mueller. The name of this episode is “Savages” and Herr Mueller called the Natives, savages, but in this case, he was the savage. It also shows what the tensions must’ve been like back then if so many people thought the same way Herr Mueller did. I agree that he brought it on himself. Remember, when the Native healer told Claire in a previous episode that a death would not be her fault…

My heart melt every time I see Murtaugh back ;) And now...we know Briana is on her way ^^Sooooo much is going to happen, hope your heart is ready for this :) As always, happy and sad moments, but, this is what we like in OUTLANDER. We suffer, but it's great...ahha

2022-10-31 19:22:59 +0000 UTCAs Evie goes on about how great Jamie is - again... us waiting for it... for Evie's BIG reaction to come... then... her hearing a once familiar gravely voice: "My day is done. I'm tired"... Evie's look of shock... then Evie's exclaiming "I KNOW THAT VOICE!" then... Her again hearing the voice: "I supposed you dinie hear me." Evie's gasp and cover of her mouth from screaming! And, finally Evie shouts: THAT'S MURTAUGH!!!" Murtaugh turns and again Evie screeches: "Oh, He looks SO GOOD!" With Evie, the smiles and the tears follow. Latter in Evie's words: "Murtaugh's HOT!" Yeah! THIS IS WHY WE WATCH these reactions!!! This reaction - especially the wrap up was as fantastically entertaining as any OL content ever! Evie's excitement and anticipations and sharing and smiles are absolutely heartwarming. Thank You Again Evie, for giving us old OL fans this wholly wonderful new experience!
