I would say, the men who were at the place where the guy was with the hook, would not be calling him "Negro" that was the polite term. I'm sure they'd be using the much harsher word that ends in 'er.

2022-12-30 10:30:02 +0000 UTCThank you so much Nessie, I feel the same way! I always enjoy reading comments and I feel so lucky to have my Patreon family because you guys always make me feel so good about what I put out there. I can't thank you enough for the joy and comfort this community has given me, the Outlander fandom in particular.π

2022-10-12 17:00:38 +0000 UTCThank you very much! But we should all applaud Evie for that^^Watching her react to this show (this one and Lucifer and OUAT) is a true moment of joy during my week. I live with my boyfriend but rarely go out as I don't have friends were I live, so having people to interact with, even if it's virtual, is very cool ! And it's always nice to see smile of pure joy on anybody's face (but especially on Marie-Eve's one). And I love how respectful and talkative everyone is on Evie's "channel/page". It makes me want to comment every time, so I think it's really great.β€οΈ

2022-10-11 13:45:48 +0000 UTC@Nessie - You've posted a one-of-a-kind, extraordinary comment here, one that I applaud, and fully endorse. Really Great Job! - - - I'm a bit obsessed with reaction videos. Currently, I'm following 16, have previously followed dozens and have experienced many more still, over the last few years. Many have been very, very good, many more, have been something less. In my experience, the source material; the series, or movie, or music is an important contributing factor, BUT the difference that makes 'the difference,' is the personality and approach of the reactor(s). And though there are many stand-outs of varying traits and personalities such as: more well-informed, funnier, or even are a bit abrasive or 'grittier' in some unique manner, - For Me - the best-of-the-best are the most empathetic, more compassionate and in some meaningful ways, more vulnerable. So, the VERY BEST REACTORS I've encountered have been: Cassie (and Carly) from the movie reaction channel 'Popcorn-in-Bed.' - and - our thoroughly captivating, wonderful young friend; TV Series reactor: Marie Eve from 'Evie Reacts!' - - - To the others here, What Say You? Who do you see as a great reactor? - - - And to you Evie... Thanks for the magic you make here!

2022-10-11 13:35:14 +0000 UTCβDo no harmβ Claire was forced to show mercy to Rufus in order to save him from being lynched by the mob. A very difficult and emotional episode. Mary was not pregnant, she wasnβt able to look at the wound without getting woozy. You showed true compassion Evie.

2022-10-11 12:13:22 +0000 UTCWhen I first watched this episode I cried my eyes out and even when I re-watch the show either for myself or through reactions it is very hard for me to watch. I do like that when I see some reactors that won't shy away from the topic or cut out the hard to watch scenes or even gloss over the topic in the reviews. That is one of the many reasons I love your reactions because you take note of everything and talk about about.

2022-10-11 11:31:10 +0000 UTCYes, it's horrifying -- what happened for hundreds (HUNDREDS) of years, not only in the US but all over the world, with enslaving people and the brutality with which they were treated. I'm also glad that Outlander doesn't shy way from this.

2022-10-11 03:15:33 +0000 UTCThis episode leaves me emotionally exhausted. I respect the creators for showing this horrid history... But this definitely an episode I cannot re-watch. It's heartbreaking.

2022-10-10 18:12:17 +0000 UTCHi Evie ! Great reaction again. Yes, during this season, I feel like we are digging more into "bigger" problems, or very serious subjects, as it represent a whole area and a lot of people. As you mentioned, every woman on earth can endure the lost of a child, regardless of her skin color. But as soon as we deal with historical facts, acts etc, yes, the reach is more important because it concerns not only "one human in a bunch of people" but something terrible, horrible, "we" have witnessed not so far ago. Yes, we will still watch "lighter" problems, regarding our favorite couple, but it is also important to include those historical elements, no matter how terrible they may have been, precisely in order not to forget. I know it is just a show, and that a lot of parts (in general) are romanticized, but it touches everybody in their guts, proof that we (and of course you) cried over it even though "it's just a show", because we know it all happened. I'll give you a bit of good vibes to comfort you as it is difficult to see you cry ( I am too sensitive I think, whenever I see someone cry, I can feel what he/she's feeling....well it doesn't always end very well ahah...) by saying : bad shit will happen in this season, yes...but fortunately good things are also going to happen and make you smile. I just love your reactions, you are so involved. I think this is why you might be one of the best show reactor, if not the best, I saw on YT or Patreon. Just wanted to let you know that. That may sound crazy but, as I (I don't want to speak for other people) watched you over the past few weeks/months (oh my god, already ^^), I feel almost "connected" to you because of the way you react to some of my favorite shows. We may not know you personally, or anything about your personal life, but I can tell how human, empathetic, altruistic, funny and cheeky ;) (especially during Jamie and Claire's private moments ahaha ^^) you are, just by watching you react to a show. This is so nice knowing a show can do that ^^ Bises de la France ;)
