Great reaction. Spider people! *shudder* For me this was the episode I really ended up hating Samuel. I really didn't like him after he sold out Sam and Dean, but the fact that he let Sam do what he did to those men in the barn, not even TRYING to get them help. Sam was soulless, I don't blame him, but Samuel had his soul, he should have known better. I compare his reaction to what Dean's would have been if he was with Sam at the time, and I wanna strangle Samuel. This was rough.
