Freya using hope as bait I don’t believe she had bad intentions for her. Freya above everyone knows the power dahlia has, and she genuinely didn’t think that there was another way to lure dahlia to their vulnerable circle, so when Elijah’s injected her with hopes blood the fear was that freya genuinely doesn’t think dahlia can be fooled by that decoy trick, as for the flashbacks, that I can remember all flash backs are true, I can’t think of a time there was a flash back in the originals that was false, usually the flash backs are ways to concrete the truth so both Freyas and dahlias flash backs are real. If I remember of a flash back that’s false I’ll attempt to let you know that it is when the series comes to it but as of right now all I can think of were true. And I initially didn’t see a huge problem outside of daggering klaus for being stubborn, but Hayley taking klaus’s child from him regardless of the many enemies they have, I do think that’s crossing the line, just like klaus can’t decide everything for his child without Hayley’s consent, I don’t think she can do it either it’s a partner thing to raise the child and both parents should have the same rights to the child, I just find it hypocritical when people are ok with klaus doing it but when Hayley does it she deserves what’s coming to her(not directed to you Evie btw). I understand Hayley’s maternity instinct to make the decision on what’s best for her child’s safety but at the end of the day she’s doing just as klaus had and making decisions without the consent of the other parents which is hypocritical. Although klaus is now turned against his family I also see huge character improvement that he would’ve forgave or at the very least talked the whole situation out with his family had he not heard Hayley’s plan to run with hope, an old klaus would have entered there ready to bring havoc to his family but he was willing to talk it over with them at the least but Hayley’s plan ruined that moment and instead forced his hand to accept dahlias deal, also refreshing to see you be so unbiased and take time to see everyone’s point of view👍
