This was a great reaction to an extremely good episode. - I couldn't agree with more Evie - about Rupert's injury: "MY F_CKING GOD... ow." But also, I completely disagree! I thought Rupert's: "Give her a wink for me." was quite clever! EPISODE'S THREE BEST LINES - When Murtagh says: "Does it ever occur to you that taking Clare to wife might not be the wisest thing you ever did?" - - - Tied with Clare speaking to the Duke of Sandringham: "I'm reasonably sure, you don't have a heart." - - - Tied with an All=Time Best Murtagh Line: "I kept my word - I lay your vengeance at your feet." Now on to one of the truly GREAT Outlander episodes!

I think I mentioned in the last reaction that this episode was written by the author of the books and it sticks close to the book except for a few changes. On Starz, the show creators discuss the episode at the end. Yes, Inverness is the town that Frank and Claire were visiting when they went to the stones at Craigh na dun. I love that scene with Jamie speaking Gaelic to Claire while she slept and I rewind and watch it a couple times every time I watch this episode and I did with your reaction too. ❤️ In the book, Rupert dies rather that just getting shot in the eye, but since Angus died a couple of episodes ago, they changed that. Also, in the book they brought their horses into the church when they were hiding from the British, but they couldn’t find a church that would allow them to bring horses inside, so they said the horses were hiding in the woods. Haha… “shut your bitch ass up” that’s exactly what I thinking when the Redcoats took Claire. It was so funny when Jamie and Murtagh were trying to read Claire’s note and Jamie says they can give her lessons later and Murtagh commented that she misspelled help. I laugh every time. The look on Mary’s face when she first refused to go out and tell Hugh Munro it was a trap made me question her loyalty the first time I saw this episode, I thought she was trying to help get Claire caught, but I was clearly wrong. I loved seeing Murtagh get vengeance for the attack in Paris, that had been weighing on him because he wasn’t able to stop it and he promised Jamie vengeance in Paris after it happened and you can see when Jamie accused the Duke of saying whatever to whoever to save his own skin and the Duke says “that stops today” then Jamie says “As you say” and Jamie looks at Murtagh and pushed the Duke towards Murtagh so he could be the one to kill him. And I love the look on Jamie’s face when he looks up at the Duke after punching the man who raped Mary when Claire tells him the attack was his idea. Damn that man is beautiful 😍 That whole thing about Frank’s existence is confusing because if you remember, we saw him in the first episode of S2 when Claire is back in her time and he goes to the hospital and she flinched because she had a flashback of Black Jack
