Just a couple of interesting facts. You mentioned that you love Jamie's coat. Well, it's his father's coat. He's worn it since quarter day at Lallybroch when they've been in Scotland. Also, the big battle scene was shot in a HUGE tent because that was the only way they could keep all the fog in one place and not have it blow away.

2022-06-28 15:34:07 +0000 UTCHi Evie, have you tried Amazon Prime Video or Starz? I have Starz and my Mom is able to watch on Amazon Prime Video. Both have subtitles. I also watch with subtitles so I don’t miss anything. BTW: I also love that coat that Jamie was wearing. He’s worn it before once or twice. I remember that he wore it in S1 when he takes Claire to Lallybroch for the first time and found out what happened with Jenny and Randall.

Thank you for clarifying for me you don't know how much I appreciate it ahahah & the thing is I used to be able to watch it on Netflix while recording my screen but now it won't let me anymore! as soon as I start the screen recording, the screen becomes black and I only hear sound but no image. I also tested it with Lucifer and it does the same thing.. I have been searching for a site that would allow me to stream it with subtitles without success so that's why :( if you know a site with subtitles let me know but if not, I will keep searching because subtitles are a great help for me with the accents and stuff haha

2022-06-28 00:17:00 +0000 UTCHi Evie, I hope you’re feeling better soon. I watched the reaction and you were asking about Dougal taking the horse toward the British camp. Jamie mentioned that they needed to see how muddy the terrain was so Dougal went and found out that they wouldn’t be able to cross that area because it’s too swampy and Jamie told Dougal to make sure he stays 125 yards away because that is how far their musket balls will go. I always laugh when Angus talks to the Prince and bows. And now as you mentioned the two pairs of friends each lost one. Rupert lost Angus and Ross lost Kincaid. I also find it hard to believe that Sam and Caitriona aren’t a couple in real life because the chemistry is off the charts, but they are such great friends and Sam has said he loves her like a sister. She is married to someone in the music industry and recently had a baby. I loved when Jamie kissed Claire before the battle and then bowed to her like she was royalty before leaving. Prestonpans is what they named this battle and I heard somewhere that it did only take about 15 minutes because the British were surprised. I almost felt bad for Dougal because he wanted to make a good impression on the Prince, but Jamie was smart as Dougal said, Jamie championed him and exiled him at the same time. I can’t wait for you to see what happens going into S3, but I hate that we have to wait a week for the each episode. 😩 If I remember correctly, there are 3 episodes left this season and they are all so good! The next one “Vengeance Is Mine” was written by the author of the books and speaking of the books, I know how much you love Jamie and Claire and a lot of the dialogue is taken straight from the books, but there is even more romance in the books that they can’t fit into the episodes. Aren’t you able to watch on Netflix with the subtitles?

That was so sad the way it played out… Rupert and Angus just missing each other and not getting a chance to speak. I remember thinking back to the first couple of episodes when Angus and Rupert were Claire’s guards and to see how far they have come… Angus was some comic relief for sure. I’ll comment more after I watch it later.
