I know I'm chiming in kinda late... but Tara, you already said everything I was thinking about throughout the episode. The only other thing I would say is when Jamie tells Murtaugh the truth about Claire. Murtaugh says "if you know your wife to be a witch"... In the Highlands, there are so many myths & legends about the faires & magic, I think both men see Claire as magical. No she doesn't practice witchcraft like a normal witch but she does, for sure, have magic of her own...so I think Murtaugh calling her a witch is just referring to this magical ability she processes. I sure hope that made sense...lol.

I remember when the lady was telling them about it and also that Frank did come across is and didn't feel it! thank you for reminding me and clearing some things up, always looking forward to reading your comments!💗

2022-05-31 16:23:19 +0000 UTCHi Evie, I remember seeing this episode for the first time and was also very worried about Claire and was curious about what happened to cause Jamie to go back on his word and duel Randall. I watched the next episode right afterwards. I think it was the last episode where you mentioned that if Frank never existed, Claire never would’ve gone back to meet Jamie and you are right, she never would’ve been in Scotland. Some people can hear the buzzing at the stones and some can’t. They figured that if you can hear the stones, then you should be able to travel through them. You also mentioned Jamie looking up at Claire from the first episode. That was the night of Samhain and the woman who Frank and Claire spoke to when they checked into their room said that it’s the night when ghosts wonder about. There has been much speculation from fans online saying that was Jamie’s ghost looking up at her. If you recall, when Frank approached the figure, he didn’t feel the man brush past him and then the figure vanished. At that point, we didn’t know what was going to happen with Claire and the connection between her and Jamie.
