Alright we learned so much this episode!! I'm glad we got to see Jamie's family and turns out I do like his sister! now what is waiting for us next like who are these guys???

Hi Evie, I’m not sure if you’ve seen the final 2 episodes of the season yet and in case you haven’t, I just wanted to give you a heads up that there are some scenes that are very difficult to watch. Especially the season finale. The actors have said that they are proud of the work that they did, but it’s still very difficult. For this episode, Jamie came home feeling guilty because he thought Jenny had Black Jack’s bastard and he wasn’t able to stop it from happening. With Black Jack, it’s also about power. He tried to rape Claire and Jenny to feel powerful and make them feel powerless and tried to make that deal with Jamie. Like the other commenter wrote, Black Jack gets off inflicting pain however he can. He saw Jamie’s strength and resilience when he tried to save Jenny four years earlier and that Jamie wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of screaming when he was being flogged which just made Black Jack even more angry and as Jenny said, he laid the lashes on Jamie’s back with such fury because he was trying to break Jamie and he wasn’t able to and he has now made it his personal mission to break Jamie anyway he can.

I see him as the kinda guy who enjoys inflicting pain (both physically & emotionally) on others. Doesn't matter if they are male or female, as long as he can get sexual gratification from their pain. The true definition of a Sadist. But lastly, the scene with him & jenny... I think because she was terrified he was "ready" to abuse her... but then she begins to fight back, she hits him & starts laughing in his face so she is mocking him instead of acting terrified. I think that's what saved her. Her turning the tables & no longer showing how fearful she was actually stopped Black Jack from being "able" to take his sexual pleasure. Geez, I hope that made sense...lol
