2022-01-05 01:38:38 +0000 UTCThis comment is going to age me terribly but when I was in my late 20's, I was living in Seattle in 1999 or 2000 and every time I turned on the TV I was seeing this major hype about this series of books that kids were just insane over. I'm an avid reader and so I decided that I would see what the hype was about ,so I put them on hold at the library and I read the first 3 books in no time. They were amazing and I became just as obsessed as those kids. When I moved back home to Alaska in 2001, all I asked for Christmas was the first 4 books, so I could reread them any time. All these years later, I still reread them about once a year. The films are amazing in a totally different way as the books but no less addicting. I will always be in amazement at the imagination of J.K. Rowling, she created a world that both kids and adults were fascinated with and loved for many years and probably many years to come.
