2021-10-14 01:05:07 +0000 UTCElena wth her humanity off, Makes you see what is a vampire stripped of feeling and the most human characteristics. In Elena case, She is caring, compassionate, she loves her friends and Damon, take all this away and you get person persuing personal basic urges, with the power of a vampire that doesn't care about the consequences of any of her actions and seen anybody in the way of those urges and wants as an obstacle to be eliminated to be free to do what your primary instincts tell you to do. So friendship, love, reputation, boundries, ripercussions, morals are no concern, and bare no significance anymore. A humanity switch off vampire is scary and very dangerous to everybody and to him/herself too, because, once you get back your feelings and remeber al the awfull things you've done to the people you care and to yourself is going to be terrible. We saw the ton of guilt that Stefan is carrying with him what it does to him.
