2021-10-03 22:33:28 +0000 UTCOther thoughts, I really love this episode. Klaus murdering hybrids to "O Holy Night" is one of my favorite Klaus scenes in the series. Just to clear up a few more things about that. Klaus did murder 12 hybrids. He murdered them cause they were trying to get rid of him. Hayley told him what the hybrids were planning to get Klaus to kill them. Shane and Hayley needed him to kill the hybrids in mass murder it's not like they could do it themselves. Shane has now orchestrated two mass deaths of 12 which we learned last episode is to fuel expression magic.

2021-10-02 22:28:46 +0000 UTCI don't think I care about the fact that Stefan is mad or that he's trying to rationalize Elena's feelings away that seems normal for someone who just got his heart broken. I think I care that he's being a hypocrite here. Mr. It's her choice didn't even TALK to Elena about what she wanted prior to demanding Damon take away her choice by telling her to go away. I mean it's just basically another form of compulsion to make her leave him. Clearly from last episode she doesn't want to leave Damon. This is the episode where I started to see Caroline as Stefan's friend before Elena's. She had a choice and she made it. She also chose Stefan over Tyler in this episode.

So without knowing Klaus went to kill his 12 hybrids, doing what professor Shade wanted in the first place, and then went for Tyler that was the instigator and the leader of the pack. but because he didn’t find Tyler he killed Carol instead out of revenge. I was very sad to lose Carol, I liked her too, and I feel for Tyler, poor thing, his mother was all he had. Damon didn’t lie to Stefan over the phone he just selected the right words not to tell him the truth; he needed some times, which is totally understandable and to be honest I don’t agree with this. Stefan is an ex and exes don’t have the right on any decisions their former partners made about their life. Again it is understandable he is upset and hurt. But they split up and Stefan is taking advantage of the fact that he as some power over his brother to force him to do something he doesn’t want to do and Elena doesn’t want to do. Imagine is Elena got together with someone else, how could Stefan go that someone else and tell him to stay away from Elena, he would get a good "mind your own business", rightfully so. But becuase Damon is his brother he is putting himself in the middle of it, between them. How they solve this situation is nobody business but Elena and Damon’s, and it is pretty clear, even to Stefan, that Damon truly loves her and would never do anything to arm her. It wasn’t Caroline’s business telling Stefan about Damon and Elena, Elena asked her not to. That was gossiping to the expenses of your best friend. Very bad.
