As for the exchange of blood I actually thought that vampire blood wasn't good for them or like viable until we learned that Mikael was feeding off of it but yeah, that seemed to bother him even more than when they kissed!

I love Ric soo much and when he appears in the end and says I miss you too Buddy it’s so emotional and beautiful their friendship has grown so beautifully in the show from enemies literally to best friends like brothers Delaricis definitely one of my favourite friendships on the show ♥️

We know that there are toxic bullies out there that as soon as you point out what is on the script and it is not Stefan flattery, those bullies come out of the woodwork and exercise bullism. But you didn't write the show the way it is written, so you shouldn't listen to those silly toxic people but just say what you think freely without any constraints.

2021-09-18 21:04:11 +0000 UTCIt is very important right now to do a recap on why Stefan was attracted to Elena in the first place. He fell in love with Katherine when he was human before he knew she was a vampire. Once he learnt what she was he got scared and he had to be compelled, his love for her got twisted and it is connected with the trauma of becoming a vampire and everything that came with it, all he became, and everything he did. So Elena was his chance to relive that period of innocence, before everything happen, to pretend to be human, to forget who he is. Also being around human Elena he doesn’t have to face any of the issues he has with blood lust. But now Elena is a vampire, and things got complicated because she has to feed. No vampire is on animal blood, only Stefan that has big issues of self control and he is pushing Elena to adapt his life style as the best possibility for her, but most of all for himself. Elena cannot feed on humans in front of him that is why he is pushing her to feed as he does and he is projecting his problems on her, without giving her the benefit of the doubt that she might learn to handle the blood lust. That is why she feel she cannot confide in Stefan, she feel he would be disappointed that she is failing to be like him and judge her, and that is why she goes to Damon, twice, because she know he wouldn’t judge her no matter what. Damon is very sweet with her and very naughty. Exchange of blood among vampires is very much a sexual thing. Damon miss Alaric very much, he doesn’t let anybody sit on his place at the grill and it feels like he is going on his grave to talk to him without anybody seen him doing so. Damon lost Alaric and Elena and he is grieving in his own way.

2021-09-18 20:13:05 +0000 UTCDon't worry I didn't miss it but I didn't point it out you're right! :) It's been mentioned multiple times in the comments so I do know that Stefan can't feed directly from the vein because of his blood lust! When I talk in the end, it's mostly about Damon and Stefan's different point of views on how Elena should learn to be a vampire, which of course Stefan thinks she should drink animal blood because he doesn't want her to be a ripper like him, get a taste and go crazy on the blood. But yeah, definitely it's a big reason why he shouldn't be the one to help her and she knows that! Also I try to be careful with how I say things because I don't want people to think I'm "biased" and am a Stefan hater lol but I think I talk about it in the next few episodes if I remember correctly!! :)

2021-09-18 19:11:38 +0000 UTCI think you missed the best reason Elena didn't tell Stefan that she couldn't feed from animals and why she thought he wasn't the one to go to. It's because STEFAN can't drink from the vein. He can drink human blood but he doesn't drink from humans because his blood lust overcomes him and he KILLS people. He CAN'T just say oh hey let's try a different method and that is a huge reason he is so adamant about the animal blood thing. He is projecting as was evident by his conversation with Damon. "We can't let her be anything like me". Elena knows all of this and wouldn't ask Stefan to let her feed from humans with him. There are other reasons she didn't tell him too...

It just made sense that Damon didn’t wanted to go the lanterns things, it would’ve been way out of character instead he made a speech to Alaric grave (Ian is so fkn great at doing monologues) I love that scene so much ❤️❤️ and yes Matt have a purpose now 😂😂 I love vampire Elena but Stefan ughhhh he irks me this season specially the first few episodes…..
