2021-09-15 04:36:05 +0000 UTCExactly how I'm applying it ;) One of those moments of Foreshadowing they used in the early episodes....you know connecting even bigger dots and finding new things now on like my fourth rewatch of season 1.I'm not sure how many pick up on that moment, and how much it applies well.... I'm doing my best not be spoilery. Since she is almost done with season 1. It's also noticeable that when Bonnie brings this up, Elena states, well that is only one side Damon's...yet now she is willing to take Stefan's side without knowing the full story? Why is that? Well, what has Stefan done that Damon hasn't to earn that trust, a rescue and saving her life from a car accident? Telling her she is the woman he loves, and providing a big emotional dump of information, to prove his "trustworthiness"?

Stefan: I told Damon that I'd help him get into that tomb to get Katherine back. But it was a lie. I let him believe that he could trust me. Elena: Well, then why would you be worried about telling me? Stefan: Because he can be very persuasive, and you two have bonded lately. Elena: [scoffs] That doesn't mean I trust him. It's gonna take a lot more than just a road trip and a rescue for me to forget who Damon is and everything he's done. While not knowing everything yet about Stefan, or the history of the Brothers? Bonnie from Episode 4 while telling Elena what Damon had told Caroline.... Bonnie: He filled her head with all these lies until finally it worked, and she turned against Damon.

2021-03-06 22:00:18 +0000 UTCThe scene on Elena's the coach when the three of them decide what to do about the vampire that was invited in, it's very important to undestand what is happening, later. Damon suggest to get Elena to the dance to lure the vampire, Stefan desagres and 15:57 Elena says "I'll do it" meanning I agree with Damon not with Stefan. Look at Stefan reaction, he doesn't like that one bit. Later Stefan in the school corridor said to Damon "I'll help you, no lies, no deception..." . But later he says to Elena that he actually laid to Damon and doesn't want to help him. To get Elena back on team Stefan, he manipulates Elena, that isn't a liar, to gang up with him agaist his brother. I understand that getting the tomb vampire out is dangerous and Stefan don't want Katherine out because she is trouble, but there is no need to be shady about it or lie to Damon and force Elena to lie too. "if history is any indication there is only one liar among us" ....another prove.
