About what you said, how you changed your opinion on Fumiya, I think it's not just the distance from the first few episodes. Even though at the start he makes a mistake in keeping it a secret, throughout the show he isn't really toxic, like he isn't doing anything to take advantage of Ritsu, he has no malicious intent. We see that he in fact loves Ritsu deeply - he is quite a complex character, not perfect but still likable.
