Diamond Reward: The Secret Page NSFW

https://pleasurebonbon-next.com/rewards/pbb-next/pinups/custom-sketches/the-secret-page/

I have few memories of this very old commission, but among these that it was perhaps the last commission I made, before opening Patreon and before starting to make them again, because it was very complicated.

In fact, I confess that there were two pages, and that I had received the payment for both because I had estimated a roughly reasonable payment for comic pages rather than pinups and it was a big mistake of mine. In fact, after the sketch of the second page I had a burnout 🫠 and decided to return half of the payment 😔 And perhaps it is for this reason (because I don't remember anything else) that I never published this page on the old site, I was disappointed in myself 😔

But I didn't expect so many descriptions, so many details and so many references 😵‍💫 Among these I had to watch an episode of a TV series on YouTube, of which I received the link.

For me it was too much work to keep up with this commission, too many things to think about and too many scenes to chain together.

Basically Violet is called for a romantic encounter with a king, but this king has some special requests, including bondage (well the chains, which are then removed) and lots and lots of jingling jewelry, especially lots of piercings. One of the king's advisors checks to make sure Violet hasn't forgotten the most important one! 🫣

Everything must be as the king likes. Like the henna under her feet. Every part of the outfit was specifically requested, like the hat with the mirrors, everything! Even the slave behind her! Described in ALL details ( also the big ring there...). Now imagine the amount of text that I received in English 😵‍💫

Well, every now and then I think I have to specify that in the commissions I do I prefer to do only a single scene with the characters , with a simple background, but not because I'm not capable, but because otherwise the work then becomes so complicated that I get anxious, stressed... and so I reserve the right to give you a maximum completion time and complexity in the description, beyond which I will not accept commissions in the future.

For Brendon's commission with the bees, in fact, I asked to be able to manage and simplify the requested sequences, in my own way, in order to avoid not accepting the commission or abandoning it. It would be negligent of me to repeat the same mistakes.

This page was hand drawn, I hadn't learned digital drawing yet, so the details didn't come out very well, because it was all drawn with a traditional pen on A4 paper and you couldn't correct or zoom in. Maybe this helped make it more complicated.

I hope you like it though! 🙏 I hope you still get the effort I put in and...my honesty 🙂

Firstly, I had no idea this was supposed to be a 2 page commission. O_O In fairness, anyone here would totally understand for you to cancel the 2nd page since what you described was WAY more complex than the price of the commission. <.< Hell even most famous artists wouldn't go in this much detail for a comic page unless it was at LEAST in the $$$$ figures. @.@ And THIS was back in the day of it being HAND DRAWN TOO! OoO I consider the commissioner lucky they got at least 1 page. >.> From what you described that must have been a huge thing to tackle on top of everything else you were doing. With that said, even in the preview, this is a VERY detailed picture that came out really well. :D ESPECIALLY it being a BDSM themed pic (which they can be very complex). O.O So I'd say at least pat your back a little Vanessa for completing the first page during a time where detailed hand drawn commissions were a rarity to people (even to this day). ^-^

Holy cheesecake! This was hand drawn?! My goodness, I can see how you got burnt out having to draw two pages of this. I usually like to give longer descriptions when I commission someone, but that's because I follow the mantra "better have and not need than need and not have." That is to say, I'm afraid of leaving the artist with too little and now they don't even know where to start. So I give them descriptions of poses, expressions, angles, backgrounds, props, and all those kinds of things that are relevant. Usually the artist will correct me if something I ask is unrealistic, and I've never asked for something is THAT amount of detail! With the rise of AI, I've started to appreciate artists for their individual tastes and quirks. If you want something to be drawn EXACTLY like imagen it, where the artist is as much a tool like the pencil they draw with, then you could as well have used AI. So, now a days when I buy commissions from artists I always ask, "What do you like to draw?" If I'm going to YOU for a commission, then that means I want YOU to draw something, not just looking for an art generator -- those are already out there. And so I give "general" parameters, like how I want these characters, in these poses, making these faces, saying these lines, in this place and wearing these clothes, but I try to leave things open for the artist to fill in with their own flair and style. I might ask for a "Roman Bathhouse," or I send a picture of a suit of armor I'd like the character to wear, but I leave out the details. Most of the time I just want the artist to draw their characters/setting with my characters in a certain scenario, and then just ask, "How would that go?" Well, I know you don't like walls of text in English ... and here I just wrote you one. ^^" Anyway, it's good you were honest at least and gave the appropriate refund. I'm guessing the guy who commissioned the comic is no longer around; I know I would feel rather embarrassed for putting you through something like this. ^^" For what it's worth, it's a really good comic page! I've said before that you are a master of detail, and here it shows! It's too bad it was TOO much detail, but still, holy cheesecake this is impressive!
