I'm sorry that the maid to create the atmosphere ๐ฏ is still missing ( $2 tier), but in these last few days both Gianluca and I are a bit busy with preparations for the holidays, I still have to buy the presents ahah! ๐
I'll go out tomorrow morning to do some shopping, and the grocery to cook something good. In Italy we prepare the Christmas Eve dinner to spend with friends and relatives, I will prepare a cake and a salmon sauce because in Italy many families eat fish on Christmas Eve (meat the day after, the 25th) and Penne ( a kind of pasta) with salmon is one of the most classic first courses! So I have to buy the salmon tomorrow before I find it sold out! ๐
So only one maid is still missing, as soon as it is ready you will be updated!

I'm amazed how each country has their own food that gets sold out every year on Christmas. o.o For the USA, we typically get sold out on Turkey and/or Ham. ^-^; But I would have never guess Salmon would be the item that would get sold out in Italy for Christmas. O.O (Though I shouldn't be surprised since in Japan, you need to reserve your KFC bucket a month in advance for Christmas dinner. 2024-12-23 11:34:30 +0000 UTCI only have one cat, she used to belong to my grandparents, but they passed away. She still lives in their house, but from time to time she comes for food or affection, so I'm not sure if I should consider her a pet or not. The craziest thing she did was bring a snake; it was dead, but it was enough to terrify my mother. She also brings pigeons. For some reason, she never eats her prey, she just brings them and leaves them around. By the way, my cat's name is Nina.

I also keep my two cats company but I have trained them not to be afraid of fireworks (even on New Year's Eve) because I tell them it's a game! When the first bangs start we are already on the bed, and I am making them play with their favorite toys, I tell them their favorite words and I give them some treats. Consider that Mi-ke has a heart condition so for me it was very important to get her used to it, but Fusilli ( her big brother ) helped me because he had already been with me for a year, and he is a chill cat ๐ and if she sees him calm then she imitates him, she is a copy-cat ! ๐ So luckily I managed to tame my cats to ignore the fireworks, in fact, they go to the window to see it because they are curious and they like the lights.

All my relatives come to my town, as they were all raised here. They are country people, but now they live in the city. Many of them prefer being here rather than in the city; they enjoy the peaceful environment. However, the next day, December 25th, there are no parties or dinners. I have to take care of my dogs because of the fireworks, poor animals.
