2024-11-18 07:02:22 +0000 UTCYay! New page! At long last we're back. Back, to the present! Will can't stand seeing a girl cry... So this is where that came from. In the legacy version we didn't find out about it until, I think issue 16? Is that my he doesn't like women: they make him cry? Anyway, he started DIETING at five years old?! Good lord! The last thing a little boy needs is LESS food! He must mean that he ate more... Does Will blame himself for his brother's death? Well, what could he have done? Even if Will knew what his brother was up to, I doubt he could have done something to stop him anyway... But maybe that's just how he feels. Betty's taking a gamble. Ironically, I never took an owner of a casino to be a betting person. :P And ah, so here's when Will wakes up, and what's he gonna see and hear this time I wonder. Apparently he wrote himself that Betty and Violet were banging behind a curtian, completely omiting Io. :P Aha! And here we get an early explanation of what's going on at the mansion... Does she mean suitors and candidates as in BOTH are applying for the job position? I don't quite remember, but I think Simon wanted Mary to ... marry someone from the order of the claw, and not just any rich guy, but maybe I got that wrong. And she has a reliable source? Now who could that be again... Is it someone new perhaps? Darn Betty looks good! One important question though: There's a slight differance between "in" time, and "on" time. "In" time implies Betty has a time limit she's trying to get ahead of, while "on" time means Betty has a plan that's progressing like it should. I can't quite remember, but did Betty have a plan beforehand, or is she "winging" it? Now, I do wonder what Violet is talking about, since I don't think she's talking about sex ... since this is a 16+ comic. Aww, happy Violet. :) I've been going back and forth with Betty's dialouge here, because it gets a whole lot harder when she doesn't want to specify exactly what Violet is so glad to do. It's understandable, but the wording feels a bit awkward, like it's been directly translated. I mean, Betty says "put effort to" and "very hard" when refering to Violet's work ethic, and so it's a bit repetitive. May I suggest: "You are the only one here who would work with anyone for free! And vigorously so!" Oh, the ICE queen of Delight Castle. How can she be so hot yet so cold at the same time? :P All in all, good job, Vanessa! Nice page! :)
