So it looks like I'll be playing Rain World for Patreon and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon for the Halloween event, followed by however much I can fit in what's left of October (Amnesia -> Crow Country, etc).
IDK if it's disappointing that I just posted the results instead of doing the little animation thing with the music etc. That takes me at least an hour to set up each time and its original role as a reveal doesn't really make sense to me anymore now that the Patreon game isn't a live, public reveal. As a ritual, I feel like it's outlived its purpose after, uh wow, probably eight years?
Look forward to a lot of posts. If things feel like they're coming out in a weird order, uh, sorry. I probably shouldn't have done Entropy Centre and A Ling Between Worlds on a basic organizational level because things are kinda unhinged atm. My priority is to make sure that anything that's being released publicly currently has MORE episodes already on Patreon so that I'm fulfilling my obligation implied by having an "early access" tier. While also trying not to post two things the same day because who has time for 8-12 hours a video a day lol
Blah blah blah this mean that, Early Access people: I intentionally scheduled ALBW and EC to be more spaced out over the course of the later month because I knew having to launch the patreon vote and the halloween event at the same time was gonna make things a bit unhinged around here. I'm putting in a lot of hours lol

Am I reading this right that there's only a couple votes difference that determines the winner? That feels like a small "here's why you should vote for this" post in the discord might actually make a difference to get people to vote for your nomination. Assuming it's popular enough to get in the upper ranges by itself.

2024-10-06 17:35:42 +0000 UTCWow crazy. Rain world has been on here alot in the past and was nowhere near the top and it finally climbed the ranks to win. Wonder what shifted in its favor, is there alot of hidden love for it im not aware of? Cant speak to the game myself as i have yet to play it.
