feels like the main value for growing your own plants is fiber over the actual crops, which is kind of wild. you just constantly need so much of the stuff also, I'm not sure when it appeared but I think they're now showing who wants to work where in the character list? there's like a new "like" section to the right of characters' names that shows a teeny tiny icon of the shop. so weirdly it looks like Hugo would actually like to work at the bar? and I think Shiloh would work at the bait shop. it kind of potentially shoots dead my theory that Jasper wants to work at the Salon. (if that's what the scissors on the map turn out to be) also removes some of the potential mystery and legwork of trying to suss out what people like based on personality
