You should try using Party Talk more. It's T on keyboard, I'm not sure if there's a button on controller, but there's a *ton* of dialogue there, at least one per room per companion, and sometimes back-and-forths between multiple people. (Also don't forget you have a map) (Also also I'm pretty sure revving only effects your basic attack so you're wasting it if you try to use it with a spell that doesn't require it like pyromancy flame or if you guard).
