Tharja skull prop
Added 2020-10-16 19:38:15 +0000 UTCI want to recreate the Tharja figure as accurately as possible, so I needed a red skully boi.
I haven't sealed the paint yet, so I might adjust the shade of red before the shoot. I had limited colours to work with π
and mixed the red with bronze to muddy the colour. I honestly forgot about the crack lines... RIP accuracy!

I did not use the spray can. Do NOT use spray cans on styrofoam!!! π¬
Here it is between coats. Styrofoam has frustrating "pores" that evade your brush. When painting most things, multiple thin coats are preferable to one or to two thick coats. I am guilty of wanting to paint quickly. π
