The next version has been released! After a very fast month the second side-quest has been implemented!
Well... Half of it at least... Unfortunately it was a lot more work than I anticipated and I only managed to finish 1 of the major branches of the side-quest. The side-quest has 2 main branches with 12-15 variations for each branch, so writing and scripting it took a lot more time than I thought it would. I'm extremely sorry for that.
My plan is to get the second branch out next week or so and release it as a patch. My sincere apologies for the delay, I hope you enjoy the content that has been added so far though!
Following this side-quest a new side-character (and my personal favorite) will be introduced next release. Her dynamic with Emma should be pretty unique. Look forward to it!

2024-06-01 19:41:10 +0000 UTCAh, I found the issue, there's another Taylor event. (I think it's the Angela one listed in the patch notes?) I didn't know there was another Taylor 1-4 event after the 2 layers. It works after that.

2024-06-01 19:32:29 +0000 UTCI already had it completed. I loaded an earlier save to see if the issue was that I had also completed Sapphire Event 2, but that wasn't the issue either. (Tried with Sapphire 1, and Sapphire 1+2 completed.) I've tried with every remaining event in the game, except for the haunted house side quest and soul imprinting already finished. (Waiting to complete haunted house until either outcome has more of an impact, since the $1000 money and unimplemented scene is nice for the mother, but I'm hoping the daughter one does something other than the swimming scene to make it more worth, or at least waiting until the unimplemented scene for the mother's done.)

2024-06-01 04:52:27 +0000 UTCHello! You are correct, guidance bear is the reason for that. I fixed it and will release a bugfix soon, but for now if you want to fix it just interact with guidance bear again and exit the menu. That will give you access to your menu again.

2024-06-01 01:14:40 +0000 UTCI think it's because of Guidance Bear but after interacting with him, the options menu no longer is accessible. The only way to save after that point was in dialogue, so no more access to items for healing or being able to see stats or anything like that
