Dev Plans (May 1st - June 1st)

Hello Backers!

If you look back at my last dev plan you may have noticed that I didn't exactly follow what I said I was going to do. There were some complications with getting the character art implemented so I focused more on progressing the character side-stories and began establishing the new side-characters for the quest.

I also have some important news regarding development. This month will be the LAST MONTH OF MONTHLY RELEASES. 

I will be doing Bi-Monthly releases from now on. This will allow me to implement content in a more completed state as well as making sure the artists aren't too strained every month.

This WILL NOT reduce the amount of content, it will just make it easier for me to release more complicated and longer segments of the game without having to cut it off halfway through.

I hope that's alright with all backers, but if it's not I completely understand. I appreciate all your support regardless!

With all that being said, there's two main focus points this month.

1. Implementing the next Side Quest

This time I'll actually be getting it done. The main character art is done and the other character's art is being worked on. The storyboarding is done and the mapping, music, and event work has already begun. I hope you all enjoy this side quest as I'm definitely not going to be doing one this big again anytime soon. Branching paths take forever to write and implement, but they are very fun to play! Or at least hopefully it will be... Anyways...

2. Implementing Backers Choice

The same as last month, the character the backers choose get a guaranteed event. At the moment it seems like Sapphire is the lucky winner AGAIN this time... I already owe animations for her last event, so I guess she'll get a lot of content this month lol.

Look forward to the side-quest this month! If I don't get it done that means I'm dead! Combat System re-work coming to a game near you soon! (Hopefully after this next release...)
