My big icon project is COMPLETE!! For those curious- the final stroke total rang up to 21750 >:3c

I have a Pinterest folder just for visuals that inspire me, and a MASSIVE chunk of it has become gorgeous pieces of hatched & etching style graphite work that are soooo so beautiful that I really wanted to take this old random sketch and turn it into a test of the elements in my own style!! The end result is something I couldn’t possibly be happier with- I think it looks SOOOO fucking cool and I’m real excited to bring the techniques into more work moving forward :3 also working with a pseudo-realism style has been massively enjoyable, I was never really a big realism fan (never liked my style of it) in the past, but working in some new things has really won me over so the studies DEFINITELY paid off!!
