Ohhhh that's an amazing detail I did not know (about the writers seeing their chemistry and then deciding to eventually make them a couple)! And I'm so glad they did take that route, can't wait to see more of Rick and Michonne as a couple!

2025-10-22 01:12:42 +0000 UTCLove that you noticed Rick and MIchonne's chemistry way back in Season 4 because their chemistry early on is exactly what made this possible. The writers of the show said that they basically saw that chemistry in Season 3 and started planning their eventual relationship way back then! In the comics Rick ends up with Andrea, but for the show they went with Michonne and its exactly what you said. They're both so strong, they're exactly what the other needs!

And itβs funny, on my first watch the Rick and Michonne couple wasnβt obvious to me until this episode and then I was like βoh yeah that actually makes perfect senseβ lol
