That Furin High is actually a school for delinquents lol (fighting school was Jordan's term). If we'll rewind to the very first episode, Sakura wanted to enter and be the top in this school bcos he knew from the start that the school is a place good-for-nothing students lol. Meaning, they don't have an interest in studying. So fighting is the air that they breathe π That's why it's kinda funny that the theme of the show is mostly about "just fighting", but when we dove into it, it's actually not "just" about fighting. There's really so much more than one can relate to in real life. And you know, I think this is also a good way of influencing the youngsters nowadays, esp those who bully others. Bullying is still a big issue right now in schools - and if only these kids could understand the message that Wind Breaker is trying to deliver across, then maybe they could learn a thing or two from this anime and apply them in real life. Anywaysss, I am excited as we enter Season 2 to see more of Sakura's growth and meet more characters. I love Tsubaki!! Thanks Jordan for acknowledging that part in the last episode. I am actually glad that you were curious of knowing more about Tsubaki.
