2025-04-30 10:40:37 +0000 UTCThe most believable reason for the uncanny valley i've heard is that we evolved to stay away from corpses or diseased people. It makes total sense when you think about it- bulging eyes, blank dead stares, rubbery/bloodless skin, etc.
