question time

Hey Patreonners! We're just sitting here wondering on a Monday, what SUIT podcast themes stand out the most to you? Don't overthink it, just let us know! Thanks!

Comments

I adore the deep chats, so much. But I love the worst moment of the week, it’s so relatable to how I talk about my own. Me and my friends now do it as an opening to our day out to break any awkwardness apart

Chl☆e

loving the deeper episodes, especially the therapist one which was very interesting to watxh

Jack Johnson

talking about media creation and inspirations as well as about fun things you do in your day to day life

Savannah Gonzalez

the worm you guys should play with life more

misterchronicles

if you all could create one charity that your audience would support and that could help or make a difference in the world what would it be? For example: Bo Burnham foundation to help youth get into comedy or Jack's circus fund.

Gabi McGehee

really like how open and real you guys are on the podcast, watched the ali and ros episode last night and was sat at my computer self reflecting for a good hour

wowfyloo

On a more serious note i do love the openness about mental health, especially the adhd and depression diagnosis. Life post diagnosis is fucking WEIRD man. Makes me feel seen!

tom clingyhq

The overarching theme of toms concerning uncleanliness. This distresses me jmars (tom clingyhqs evil sidekick) in particular.

tom clingyhq

i love the genuine chats more than anything. crazy to think that the shut up i’m talking podcast has made me start thinking introspectively. also serious hypothetical if you could eject 5 different liquids from each of your 5 fingers, what liquids would shoot out of each corresponding finger? please get back to me asap

lucia

Just ask each other really stupid moral questions like, "which is worse libraries or parks?" Or "Whats worse books or blankets?" They don't have to be related AT ALL. (I might just be trying to get you to fist fight.)

Whyami Here

I would love if you guys take an IQ test and then discuss the results, I really don’t know why, it just seems fun.

Emma

I listen to the podcast while i’m working on data entry for the research project i’m working on, so it’s a given I love the psych talks!

Hope

I really like hearing about your philosophical takes + perspectives on things because it's particularly nice to walk away from a podcast episode with a new perspective. Would also like Jack to talk more about the ethical cannibalism debate purely because its just fun to see people's reactions to it

Lance Correnti

Films and philosophical conversations <3

Ruby

definitely a deep dive into more hyperfixations!! you guys should totally play The Expert Game if yall know what it is.

minnie 💋

ALSO I love when you both talk about things that I like. Like when tom talked about horseriding. Or belfast. Cool

rhí

I associate the podcast with travelling, i go home from uni every friday evening and on sundays when im on my way back i always listen to the podcast yay

rhí

I agree with everything in the comments, but I also love media recommendations from you guys films, YouTube stuff , books etcetera, they’re always worth checking out!!

Honey

I love how genuine you guys are. I love the recent chats about mental health diagnosis. As someone with depression and anxiety and has scheduled testing for ADHD in the summer , it lined up around the same times that you guys received your diagnosis’s and it’s super helpful to hear other people especially people I’ve watched for years go through the same issues as me. It makes me feel very seen. Thanks guys 💕

Katie B

it’s nice to know that u guys are real humans with real lives because sometimes it’s easy to think celebrities live perfect lives

Kaitlyn BB

I absolutely love hearing all the little adventures and tales from your lives, makes me want to go out with friends more

Isabella _

I listen to this at my dad’s, which is pretty tense & quiet. One of my favorite things about the podcast is just the casual conversation & deep topics, with the occasional joke or two. It makes me feel like there’s a normal chat going on in the background while I’m over there. I really appreciate it. :]

Green Tea ( @Hotsaladwater )

i really like listening to yall tackle “deeper” topics and contrast your views

Lydon

Hearing what happens in ur everyday lives

jn

its really nice to watch people my age have similar conversations to the ones i have with my friends too, especially the more serious ones about life and morals and growing up

zolzyr

Jack explaining something to Tom and Tom insisting that Jack is wrong (Jack is right)

Andy Ang

i enjoy listening to the way you speak to eachother not just the content but the way it is said and phrased, you both really balance eachother out, it’s refreshing to listen to conversation that flows so well

sierra benedict

You guy's passion over the Bob Dylan film

Plinky

talking about how you ar evoth working towards your goals, ambitions even little thinbgs like jack watching more movies and tom being off social media, inspires me to work on getting my own life sorted :)

amy bryce

The balance between comedy and serious conversations

emma

The sexual tension between Tom and Jack really keeps me enthralled

Evelyn Gunn

Definitely the natural-ness of you both. It would definitely not be SUIT without the fact it’s nothing but you two having a conversation???? Idk if that counts as a theme but it’s what sticks out to me the most.

SJG

I love how to guys reflect on your pasts but also really incorporate like your futures? You’re able to recognise where you came from (like for Tom the DSMP) but now you’re advancing in your careers (stand up comedy) and it’s really cool to see: as someone who’s grown up with you both it’s really interesting

Kai

Good tho

Gabby (Dexie)

Too tired to explain sorry

Gabby (Dexie)

I genuinely cool to have seen you guys mature and develop over the years and this podcast feels like a culmination of that. I love the retrospective chats you have and the new perspective you share on the internet and life after a crazy set of years

Duckable

how much genuine interest you both show in everything you talk about, and how much you seem to value your guests. also i’d be lying if i didnt say that the complete unknown beef is very funny from an outsiders perspective

vic

really appreciate when you recognize and talk about the crew members on set. definitely makes the podcast more enjoyable to watch when we see and hear all the effort and love being put into it from behind the scenes. also love you talking about movies and film recommendations

nora

The shutting up and the talking play a big role tbf

Imbored572_

When you just talk about the stuff you're into really intensely. Weirdly mesmerising?

ClemCraft MC

The deep stuff and the bits where you two poke fun at eachother

JonKan

Friendship, Film Recommendations, Comedy, Mental Health

Mace Ether

Shit talking the old friends hahaha I’m joking but Defo mental health

lps maradow

i love the stories you guys tell cuz why is something always happening i loveee worst moment of the week. i also love when u talk about stuff and delve into it such as mental health and silly things like. i personally was really interested about what tubbo was saying about technology cuz damn i wouldnt have thought of it like that. yep!

Ella

Talking about mental health definitely makes other people feel more seen and to let everyone know its okay to struggle

Chloe Bishop

I know it isn't always intentional but you both actually get somewhat philosophical when discussing your ambitions and goals which is kinda nice.

Exurii

The weird situtions you guys get into

Superkajiuman

tommy hating youtube/twitch lmaoooo

Brooke

Introspective

Friend

shit talking

marklee

Current flow of life for you both with small anecdotes to balance out the conversations, also Tom getting unnecessarily aggressive over the bob dylan movie

Danamon

I like how you guys can joke around but also have serious chats even in just one episode, it has a nice balance :)

venla

when you lot talk about ambitions n stuff, makes me very ambitious

netilmicinkarma

More Bob Dylan. Make it a segment to argue about it.

Jacob Martindale

Mental health and shit talking

Poppy !!

Movies, creativity, mental health

MrPageMan

Creativity, comedy, social media, mental health

Jonathan Larsen

just give averageharry the stage by himself. i wanna hear what he has to say

Katherine A. Donovan

your most recent hyper fixations, the more random the better

Katherine A. Donovan

The catharsis of creativity, the passage of time, the importance of small interactions, and then a bunch of silliness to balance the heavy stuff out. :D

W.Rose

people you don’t like

Alfie WC

Lmaoooo what ep was this?? Need to see that

Gabrielle Tillett

for suresies the creativity, mental health and the relatability it has to 20 yr olds (at least, that is, coming from this 20 yr old). also the worm. also probably when you guys like throw things at the production staff, lol, you forgot to cut that bit out last time!!

vuh

idk i just like to listen to you guys yap about stuff you guys like or don't like, for example movies, cars, walking ectect

Maisa

Everyones saying the ones about creativity and I agree.

Jaiveer

I like segments!

Sylvie Heard

Thoughts about the journey of creativity and what you are gonna do next

Molly McKenna

I love all the mental health awareness stuff. Also the impact YouTube has had on you guys. ALSO I think it’s really interesting learning about the people behind the characters.

ThePaleRangerTV

Thoughts on the new Wes Anderson trailer for his movie coming out next month!!!

Riona

can we have an averagharry episode

zoof

this one’s a little random but the idea of professionalism!! does professionalism have benefits in certain spaces or is it more negative than positive? should we stray away from behavioural constructs that restrict human expression? it’s an interesting topic to me

wowfyloo

no more Bob Dylan

grace

can you do an episodr on hatsune miku

zoof

i think a cool segment could be if you guys listened to an ep or album you’ve never heard before and talked about it

wowfyloo

what are your thoughts about art in a means of monetization? you’ve talked about it before, but where do you think the line should be drawn between passion in artistry and still paying bills?

wowfyloo

Films are a fun topic too. A movie of the week segment could be fun.

TheMaehem

I love the conversations about art and the creative process whether it be stand-up, filmmaking, music, or random projects you enjoy working on. I’d love to hear more about how you think through and act on a creative idea.

TheMaehem

absolutely love the deeper more introspective convos - mental health (and illness lol) etc, the therapist episode was sooo good

Madeline McGinnis

having on old youtube icons always heals my inner child a bit (THE PEOPLE NEED STAMPY)

Niamh Franklyn

The deeper debates are definitely my favourite, the classic cannibalism talk comes to mind

Sami

I love the deeper convos! The stuff around mental health, creativity, and just anything that I can tell Tom and Jack feel deeply about. It's nice to get a deeper dive into their passions and I think asking each other introspective questions is a good springboard for that. And also the sillies. I love the sillies :3

Heather Crook

+ Discussions about music taste and new musical artists you've found recently is really interesting, I always love hearing about them and then going on to listen to something new

wwoodrow

It’s definitely the stuff on the patreon, what Jack and Tom sometimes day seems dull or boring and they joke about us all paying money for it but i genuinely find their chats about anything creative or about their futures etc super interesting. 😄 I do love the normal stuff too, usually it’s what gives me a good laugh and then I continue on to listen to them both talk more calmly and deeply stuff it’s awesome

Valerie

There is a clear theme of adding segments to the podcast. I love how clear you make it that we are entering a new segment!

Molly sullivan

I love love love the long rants about creativity and the state of creating projects for youtube :) It's always so inspiring and fascinating to have an insight into what your guys' opinions on that are at a professional level.

wwoodrow

Tommy over explaining the worst moment of the week ofc also love the acronym being SUIT

Charlotte

I just love when they completely go off topic and just mess around with eachother and talk about the most stupid stuff. I'm here cause I love their humor so I'm a little less intrested in the deep talks but they shouldn't stop

Sam

can’t lie. i love the p p p p patreonnnnnnn between the episodes i say it along with you guys every time

ultravioletbutch

I really enjoy the deep conversations about topics like depression, jack's adhd diagnosis, etc as it just gives a really realistic perspective and helps people know that everyone goes through these things at some point in life. I have recently been considering the fact that I may have some kind of depression as I've noticed a lot of symptoms in myself and those conversations really help me to understand that it's not just me that struggles with this. On a bit of a lighter note though, I do also just enjoy the casual conversations about what you guys have been up to in the week and your interests in general (sorry this comment turned out so long omg)

Fran

Maybe do a little dance, Jack, do a dance please. Also get average harry on, make him do a dance. NOT TOM THOUGH; if he dances ill throw a fkin fit

/no_info

OHHHHHH GOT IT thank you!

echolocati0n

Tommy needs to talk more about his music taste i listen to similar music and have reccommendations.

echolocati0n

It's an anagram of shut up im talking

/no_info

My birthday is tomorrow😂that's pretty suit worthy

Addison Kennedy

also what does suit mean podcast wise

echolocati0n

the yellow and blue chair is what i was going to comment until i realized everyone was typing dead serious paragraphs

riko

Probably sounds stupid but I’ve been really enjoying Toms talks about his depression, it’s something I really relate to

Stuart Gordon

I really like the fact I never have any idea what you're going to say next 😅 love stream of consciousness discussions, snippets of what's going on in your lives/what you're thinking

Jillian Gillespie

I personally love the down to earth and chillness. I've been watching since 2020 and I've grown up with both of you guys. You both are open and relatable as well as funny. It gives us this realistic view into the life of a content creator and one that humanizes you both as well? not that you weren't beforehand, but through that relatability yeah

echolocati0n

i think all the relationship and reflection moments (deep moments, some might say) where you are vulnerable and yourselfs. my favorite episode BY FAR was the therapist episode, because even though you were visibly uncomfortable at times, you didn't cut it and just let us see how you worked through the emotions. it shows an excellent example for the younger folk, even though the themes might be dark at times. p.s also being the 69th like on this post felt nice.

iramonica

I like it when you talk about creative stuff, having tourube channels ect I also loved it when DanTDM came on

Jamie

Not a theme but worst moment of the week 👍

Caitlin

I loveeee the film conversations, as someone who’s thinking of pursuing a career in directing or such, It’s interesting to hear yalls perspectives 🙂‍↕️

brailee ^_^

I really enjoy the deep moments and opening up about mental health and such, i find both of you really relatable and love to hear that i’m not alone in how i feel

PigCow

no

Ollie

I really enjoy the more serious mental health focused ones!

Max Clark

Wanna be friends?

Luna Cazador

I love just hearing life stories, like that one a few weeks ago where tom started talking about his worst moment at the club, then jack had a few cool bouncer stories, and then you guys were just bouncing stories off each other. Gotta be one of my favs.

Jynx Young

Love toms comedy tales

Pear

OOMF?

echolocati0n

Episodes where you open up about what it’s like in your profession. Just hearing two honest opinions on the field and where it’s going is so fascinating

Joanna Pugliese

Big fan of the science themed "jack smart tom stupid"

Piotr Szymanski

Your guy's personal experiences and things you feel are important and/or interesting. Something that motivates you especially to talk about and explore !

Ash

I just love hearing from you guys. You are both easy to listen to wherever the discussion wanders. It's refreshing hearing you share what you're both going through. Especially in social media, people like to put on this facade and hide what is really going on. I like that you guys are vulnerable about your worst moments, depression, adhd, and such. Being able to relate with both of you on those levels (as well as the more silly and mundane life things) is encouraging.

Dan Obregon

Naked Minecraft episode

Otis

i like when you open up about where you are in life and how it's made you feel. i find it super relatable and it's refreshing to realize even famous people have the same struggles as me.

haven

Minecraft episode (recorded in Minecraft)

Otis

Naked bus episode

Otis

Bus episode (recorded on a tour bus)

Otis

discussions about how your creativity manifests itself and what you both individually look for in art/artistic experiences (like movies—as much as that One Movie made a divide between your opinions, it also was really interesting to hear what you both look for in stories you read/watch)!! also neurodivergence

cee

Naked episode

Otis

I'd lowkey love a like book/movie/series recommendation segment

Soof Verbaan

i love the movie chats but more music ones could be great. top album of the month could be a cool segment. if you guys don’t know what a segment is it’s a specific seperate part of the podcast episode for a whole topic/area of conversation, for example talking about the worst moment of the week

Josh

I love to hear about funny or weird stories that happened or when your jokes suddenly turn into a therapy session

Starlight

Anger

rhí

Worst moment of the week is always the best :)

Ariana

The movie chats or anything to do with the media you've been consuming (movies, yotube, books, music, podcasts, etc) or like talks about where you lot wanna take your careers- also would love to hear about the new jack channel and short film

shoutashii

navigating the troubles of growing up and finding out what it means to truly be yourselves mwuahahaha and sadness. lots of themes of sadness.

raven

I love it when there’s updates about how your lives are going and how you feel about yourself. I love when you guys are unapologetically introspective and joke as friends

Quinn is A sin

More James Marriot

Cherry

I liked the discussions about childhood things like the tv shows and other nostalgic stuff like that from this episode and last weeks

Ash

As funny and relatable it is (and not to be too deep™) it does kinda feel like the you are chronicling ypur creative journeys.

figgy_pudding

deep stuff like everyone else is saying + i really do like the star wars/marvel talk + podcast logistics and creation discussion has been interesting (loved getting to see the list of prospective titles)

Claire Kaltsas

when it feels like you've forgot you're on a podcast and yous are just chatting to each other

Ollie

i like how open and relatable you both are at times. it reminds me at least that yes yous are both famous millionaires, but you are both still like everyone else in a way. Also i love the guests you guys have on, for example Dan TDM, Jedward and Jacksepticeye, they were all very interesting and highly enjoyable and i love the vibe you and your guests have together.

Amy L

always a fan of when yall talk about movies and future video/film/creative projects youre cooking up or hoping to make at some point

As someone who doesn't have any friends currently I love to hear about all the stuff Tom gets up to on his own, makes me feel more normal about going to the cinema by myself etc. Also really liked the Ali & Ros episode

Alida

the impact social media has on us all i think is an underlying theme that is important to be brought up, and your guys unique perspective on it having gained your career through both the positives and negatives

sallyp

Recovery

Calum

I found I really enjoy the specific life experience discussions, whether Jack and Tom have them in common or not; what the reality is as successful content creators (good, bad, better than a 9 to 5?), what it's like in the comedy industry, the film industry, how to maintain relationships despite internet scrutiny and exposés, that kind of stuff. It feels more grounded and relatable than bits, although I do love a good bit (or why would I be here?).

Loved the end of year one but I would love to see one where like once a month you or tom create a quiz for the other person about topics that happened that month(hard for tom as he is off the internet pretty much).I think this would be a really good and funny pod ep

Neongenstone

the sex stuff

ava rae

really love when you guys get deep and stuff . loved the philza ep where you looked back on how jack and tommy have grown up over the years. as someone who’s watched since i was 15 ( 21 now ) its awesome to watch you guys grow !!

rachel power

would love to hear tom talking about his tour soon !

issi !!

i love your chats about art and how you've evolved over time through it. talking about movies you love and arguing over the meaning of a complete unknown 💀 or how you've both branched out towards comedy and/or filmmaking- those are things i love as well and i love hearing your thoughts about it

Ash Rutella

Love stuff about how it is to be a person while also dealing with your creative career the introspective stuff is great, it’s nice to hear a creators thoughts on being a person while dealing with the crazy career you have

Kajsacries

I really like when ADHD is discussed, Jack discussing his symptoms and talking about his experiences was the reason I got checked and was diagnosed. Made my life a lot easier so I do have to thank you lot for that!

Katie Harter

i like the open minded stuff and the honest stuff about anxiety and depression, it helps remind me that everyone is human and has struggles, and that this is everyone’s first time living, we are all just learning :)

ava rae

i like the bit where tommy explains the worst moment of the week segment, as someone with no memory at all it really helps me to keep up with whats going on

James Black

I'd love to hear more about Tom's stand up comedy

elysium

Love the introspective stuff!! Industry chats as well! Would love to hear Tom talk about his favourite books, or maybe your favourite, life-changing pieces of media? But equally I also love love loved the hilarious ‘would you rather’ segment from a few weeks ago. I like it when you take silly stuff to the extreme, it’s genuinely so fun!!!

Katerina P

Worm welfare

Perregrine

I think the idea of having guests that wouldn’t normally appear in this side of the internet. Like the Ali and Ross episode - which was a masterpiece btw- they wouldn’t have ever been expected to appear on the podcast or have any ties to this community.

Katie Harter

i like when you guys talk about the nature of the internet and how it has evolved and changed us

adrea norrell

i really like how open you guys are about your struggles with things. tom talking about depression and anxiety, jack talking about adhd. its just been nice to hear people talking about the stuff i deal with who are around my age

Catnop

i love when ur introspective, especially regarding art and life, and how you guys deal with trying to be creative in a world geared towards efficiency and logistics

tamsin

I love the proper chats about YouTube and how the site has effected you both, I love hearing Tom talk about comedians he loves as someone who also loves stand up comedy and I find Jack explaining science to Tom to be absolutely hilarious.

The_Rey_Rey

100% agree

priyaa

love hearing about mental health and the effects the internet had on you guys guest episodes w your friends are also wonderful

Maria Novelli

when u guys ask one question and then the other goes on a random rant going from one topic to another. usually ends up really philosophical they're so fun to listen to

Gray Longstaff

honestly, y’all end up talking a lot about life themes that I’d like to talk about with my friends a lot- morals in every day life, does doing ‘xyz’ mean I could be a terrible person, does intuition really exist (I think it does). I always enjoy those parts of the show. Oh, and it’s all interwoven with very clear descriptions of body parts that I almost wish I didn’t hear about. Makes me laugh every time.

Ellie

omfg you guys should review letterboxd accounts

quinn brabz

I really enjoy the stories you guys tell they are both interesting and relatable

Henry Waffle

The deep chats about mental health were really good and some parts I really resonated with, I also I love the talk about films and tv shows

Becky

Overcoming hardship & connecting with each other seem to be two of the overarching themes of this podcast! (Though I do also think the humor of this podcast is one of the biggest appeals, I don't know if it necessarily counts as a "theme")

cecilia

Change

Hound

I feel like guests like the therapists who aren’t usually associated with you guys are some of the best so far so more like that would be nice

Leighton hendon

Flynn Wight

the therapist one was really good. maybe get more guests on that wouldn’t usually be seen in your sphere

NotEvanTV
