I think the lack of meaning in life and death is exactly what gives it meaning. The monk phrased that horribly. What’s beautiful is you don’t have to do anything but we do it anyway because it’s what give life meaning.

The thought is that there is nothing you /need/ to do and that you can do anything you want. That includes your career path; if you want to be a streamer because you feel you have potential (as you say), then do it. Do it and don't feel the pressure of not being enough; because there's no point to anything. You're nothing so make your choice. *(Other commenters, please correct me if I'm wrong with any of these statements. I'm not a Buddhist so I will most likely be incorrect.)
