2025-11-02 16:28:54 +0000 UTCBeing really into Tyler The Creator’s song Gone Gone / Thank you and listening to it before starting this Patreon episode and Tyler talking about wasted potential and then hearing Tom’s rant about that as well is a little odd and jarring in a roundabout Deja vu kind of way.

2025-08-02 16:03:49 +0000 UTCI really liked this episode, Im going to school for marketing (advertisement and branding) and it made me reflect on what really brings me happiness. It's not marketing but I think for many creative people there's a point when you need to prioritize the desire to do well In life over fulfilling projects. It sounds like you two relate to that. Just made me think that I need to create space to do things that are fulfilling for me creatively.

2025-04-23 18:29:26 +0000 UTC20:50 - This is the reason I reeally think before commenting on things. People making videos are also people and comments about their personality, appearance and whatnot can be (first of all, disrespectful) triggering for them. I really resonate to Tommy's views on social media as someone who kinda has a phone addiction at this point, but it's also important to think about the positives about it all, just so you don't get consumed by this anger for something you have no control about.

2025-04-11 23:40:34 +0000 UTCtommy is so so right with how the internet has manipulated people when there vulnerable it seriously opened my eyes

2025-04-09 22:20:32 +0000 UTCI heavily agree with the internet being worrying, the amount of hate people feel comfortable giving because its anonymous is crazy. I don't know how much this applies to you guys, but I've been really bothered by how appearance-driven social media is. Nowadays it feels like artists can only get their work pushed out there if they're conventionally attractive.

2025-03-26 00:47:27 +0000 UTCI loved the conversation about your home towns. Having moved twice as a kid meant that my critical phases of development are kind of split all over the place, and I don't really feel like I have one 'home town'. You guys really made me realise why I tend to draw toward things that capture that sense of a split identity.

2025-03-25 17:05:53 +0000 UTCHoping for the couples therapist as the guest next week with the teases you guys gave 🤞 absolutely love the deep talks

2025-03-25 15:43:46 +0000 UTCTom idk if you read comments on here but I feel like you'd like the song Content 4 U by TWRP. Feels relevant to waht you say about social media and content creation. The music video is great too, really adds to it.

2025-03-25 14:33:54 +0000 UTCthis really resonated with me as an artist myself and whenever you guys have this kind of talks on the podcast i get really really motivated to create more, so thanks!🙂💛

2025-03-24 22:46:25 +0000 UTCI just re listened to the first episode of the podcast and there's such a juxtaposition and I love it, I love the mix of humour and silly silly fun times but also the introspective stuff, it's similar to watching a 2021 tommyinnit video and then watching a square video and it's so great to see two people I've been a fan of and looked up to for so long be able to be vulnerable and open up I love shut up I'm talking

2025-03-24 20:23:00 +0000 UTCDamn this has me thinking about my home town, lived there as a toddler and it still means the world to me. I’ll say it again, I love these conversations.

2025-03-24 18:04:15 +0000 UTCOne thing I always have to remind myself is… if you’re going to a gallery, you would never tell the artist how to paint differently- so don’t let somebody else tell you how to create differently! The only person that will ever truly understand why you’ve created what you have, is yourself. And for the who think they can be your boss and tell you what to make and how to make it, those are the people you don’t want the anyway. You have so many people who want to support this new journey of yours! I think you guys are doing awesome and have really created something beautiful! Keep up with the creative work and take those leaps because the journey and the end will be SO rewarding!

2025-03-24 17:04:11 +0000 UTCits so interesting to hear you guys talk about how being a public figure affects your life. as a person who's not a public figure like you guys its kind of sad to hear that you can't just leave your house without being interacted with but on the other hand it sounds incredible because you have the opportunity to interact with new incredible people every day and that's so cool definitely sounds like a double edged sword or whatever they call it

2025-03-24 14:55:12 +0000 UTCi really loved this episode. i think it’s particularly interesting to hear you guys’(and especially tom’s) reflections about internet and youtube and algorithms, as someone who also was 16 in 2020, watching everything, and is now 20, and reflecting over the turn it has taken since then. i find the pandemic and the internet subcultures from that time very interesting, as the pandemic was sort of a catalyst for a lot of tendencies already existing. it is great and inspiring to see you guys move on from the algorithmic «hellscape», over to more «human»creative passions<33 great week for the podcast both here and on spotify. really enjoying it

2025-03-24 12:51:04 +0000 UTChave to agree with everyone and say this is one of the best and most interesting podcast you guys have done. being someone who's wanted to get into YouTube forever, but always felt that the time wasn't right, or that I'm too late or it wouldn't be successful it's great to hear from creators who have actually made it talk about what's valuable in content creation outside of money and fame. might actually make some of those videos now just for me because that is enough.

2025-03-24 05:53:15 +0000 UTCyou guys have seriously got such a great way of inspiring and encouraging creativity, it's incredible. i just feel like through your open and honest attitude it helps a lot of people realise more things are possible than would seem. sounds probably a bit weird saying that lol, but you know what i mean. stay silly guys, love the cast (i say cast cause i'm cooler than everyone else)

2025-03-24 02:15:28 +0000 UTCI really connected with this episode, I hate how social media has made slowly creating something that you put all of your effort into worth less than repetitive fast content
