The fact that Tom's the mature one when Dream is so much older is hilarious in a sad way. I'm so unbelievably glad he's able to stand up for himself and set boundaries with these people, growing up online in the public eye's rough enough without having manipulative, gaslighting assholes trying to take credit and fuck with you. I personally had experiences as a kid interacting with older creators that looking back were kind of insane. Having that adult perspective can really help with dealing with this stuff.

This whole situation is so frustrating, and after watching everything, I feel conflicted. However, the one clear mistake was calling him a pedophile. As a survivor, I find it deeply upsetting when false accusations like that are thrown around—it’s not something to joke about, especially when it isn’t true. As for the rest of the drama, it’s insane. I hope the best for you both and I hope you can heal from this all. EDIT: Not to defend Dream but I do really think that he has extreme problems with understanding social clues and communication.
