Another feature that would seem fitting the theme is borrowing spell slots or spells from other casters in the group, or even allowing the help action when casting spells to increase the spell save DC, which seems more in line with community spellcasting than the complex spellcraft feature.

2016-05-12 11:06:00 +0000 UTCAlright, cool. I only suggested bonus spell slots because it keeps in-line with the original prestige class and seemed powerful enough to make up for the class being a little weaker than average. It might even serve as a way to re-introduce Spellpool Debt.

2016-05-10 08:44:57 +0000 UTCThis is actually a really good note. I wasn't super happy with 10th level, but I didn't have a feature in mind to replace it either. I'm not sure if I'll go in the direction of bonus spell slots, but I'll be working on this problem for the blog release.

Though, the class seems a teensy bit weak overall, with Complex Spellcasting being an especially boring feature. Have you considered moving Spellpool Recovery down to 10th-level and adding a feature to get back extra spell *slots* as the 14th-level capstone?
