Seeking Artist
Added 2016-05-06 08:00:01 +0000 UTCUPDATE: After a ton of great submissions, consider the search closed. We're going to start narrowing down the candidates, and making some tough decisions, next.
Hey, everyone! We’re looking for an artist!
We're searching for someone for paid monthly character art commissions for our books. If you're interested, send an email to middlefingerofvecna@gmail.com with the title "Artist Submission" and the following things attached:
- Your full name
- Three example pieces of art: one portrait piece, one full-body character piece, and one other piece of your choice.
- How much each piece cost (if it was a commission,) or your estimation of how much the piece would have costed, (if it was not.)
- Lastly, include what types of art styles you feel you have proficiency with (IE, sketches, line art, cell-shaded, etc.)
We can't wait to see everyone's submissions, and can't wait to start working with one of your soon!

Alright, figured that was the case but I just wanted to be sure, thanks!

2016-05-06 21:47:49 +0000 UTCSorry, my background is in film, not 2D art. In film, we call it a wide shot: a shot that contains the entire character's body. I don't really care if it's a three-quarters shot, side profile, or one that faces the front.

2016-05-06 19:42:54 +0000 UTCOoh boy I need to try and get in on this. Quick question for clarification though, when you say "full-profile" do you mean just a full body view character piece or particularly something like a side view or something else in particular (just because I more often hear "profile" used for side views)? I figure better to ask a dumb question now than make a dumb guess later when making an actual submission, ha.

It is important for an advert like this to be grammatically correct. Again, sorry for being "that guy" but I want you all to get the best responses possible.
