August Update 2023

Yo everyone! Hope you’re having a good start to the week!

August is here already, which means we are well into summer, but more importantly for me convention season is creeping ever closer! I’m expecting August to be my busiest month so far in terms of my SFW art side. I don’t think I’ll physically have the ability to crank out a big NSFW comic project this month but what I thought might be fun instead is to do a couple minicomics for the next little bit focusing on a few of my original characters that I have been wanting to draw for awhile as well as doing some more original standalone pieces of them. This way it lightens my workload a bit and you guys still get some sweet delicious new content these next few months.

I’ve especially been wanting to do a new Movie Flick Chick story, considering the last time we checked in on her during the Christmas story things ended in a way that would make it a little difficult for her to go back to doing normal video reviews like usual…

I might want to do another MFC comic as a backburner project, especially if it seems like it would be a bit of a longer one. So I hope you guys are hype for more review nerds soon!

Overall this month is going to be a bit sloppy and unfocused, but still fun!

I also want to give a bit of an update on the future of printed comics! Some of you may remember earlier this year during my big survey era that I was floating around the idea of doing some printed versions of my comics. I’ve actually done some test prints recently and have been prepping a few layouts, I just need to decide on what would make a good first release! There are a few frontrunners that would make good releases. So if you’ve been waiting for these you probably won’t have to wait a lot longer!

Lastly, I’d like to say thank you for the nice reception on the Zelda comic! I still need to design a cover for it but I’m glad people were down for me doing something a little different for a change! If you’ve been missing my original characters don’t worry, you’ll see a lot more of them soon.

Anyway, I think that’s it for now. I’ll be updating the google drives with last month’s stuff shortly as well so if you want to see some full res comics and art stay tuned! Until then, thank you all so much for the support! It really does mean a lot to me.
