Final Edit: Aaand that’s the final two pages done! I’m looking forward to seeing this finished, it’s been one of the most enjoyable comics I’ve worked on so far.
BIG Edit: added a bunch more pages, pretty sure I’m close, only 1 or 2 more left and it should be all thumbed out! Hope you all enjoy, will be doing pencils and inks shortly! As usual this comic is ending up a little longer than I expected but I hope you all are enjoying it nonetheless. :)

Started sketching some ideas for a comic I’ve been wanting to do for awhile and needed to design a few new characters to facilitate it. Here’s Inés and Félix; a husband and wife duo. Félix is starting a new job and wants to look good, but of course gets a bit distracted before leaving.
Also, one big thing I should probably mention because it might not be obvious from just the visuals but Inés is blind. I definitely want it to be a big factor in this story and I don’t want it to come off like I’m fetishizing a disability or anything like that, it’s just something personally I haven’t seen being done in nsfw comic spaces much yet in a tasteful way. Hopefully I can accomplish that! Any advice or feedback on stuff like this from people with experience is appreciated too btw, I’ve been doing a lot of research and learning recently. 😅
A few things I wanted to mention in regards to this comic is I’m changing my workflow up a bit on this one, I’m taking a more non-linear approach to the sketching and thumbing. What does that mean? Well usually I thumb a story by just starting from the beginning and working out the story as I draw until I get to the end (I always try to mentally leave space in a panel where I think speech bubbles might go but the “script” doesn’t get written until later usually). With this comic I’m just kinda floating around drawing scenes I want out of order and coming back later to connect them. It’s actually a really fun and freeing way to write a comic and at the very least it’s always good to break from your natural flow and try something new every now and then. Will be updating this post with more WIPs and sketches as I make them before posting up a linear version of the comic with actual roughs.
