Important! Content censorship, social media access, keeping up with me if something happens

Hi forest creatures,
I know most of you follow me on social media and today Bluesky announced that it has blocked access in Mississippi due to the state's new law requiring facial recognition to access it. I'm in Texas, another very conservative state, and I fear a law like this coming too, so make sure you can still keep up with me if I'm cut off from any of my social media platforms before it happens. Key word being "before".
I urge you to turn on emails from me if you've turned them off (it's on by default). I know not everyone likes emails, but I don't post excessively, and I want to avoid a situation where you're wondering where I've gone. Social media access directly affects my ability to bring money in and communicate my whereabouts with you unless you also receive my Patreon emails.
If you need to cancel your membership, you can do so and you'll still get emails.
It's not a fun time right now. We're fighting this as hard as we can by calling our reps and calling payment processors to put pressure on their own censorship attacks from the past month, but I have to plan.

To turn on email notifications:
Go to Settings on your sidebar and navigate to Email Notifications.
Find me in your subscriptions list and click the arrow next to my name.
Then turn on the toggle for New Posts. That's it!
You can also find me on these sites, although I encourage email notification because I could be cut off from any of these if Texas were to pass a law requiring facial recognition:

If enough of us show up to start scaring them, they just redistrict us before the vote. A federal judge just had to step in and tell them to stop putting all the black majority areas in one state-long district. I'm still on Bluesky right now with a Tennessee VPN but who knows how lkng that'll work for because now our officials are talking about making that illegal too.

I for sure would love to read the emails in case censor law spreads! Hopefully it's not that case.
