Hey all! Apologies for the lack of posts and updates here. Been having some personal issues I've been focusing on but I'm finally feeling pretty good about life and everything so here is what I have planned for the rest of April!

Sex Appeal in Video Games (April 11th - 14th)

This video will discuss the recent controversy around Stellar Blade and it's protagonist Eve. There's been a lot of talk of DEI practices in gaming recently. Also talks of diversity, sexism in gaming, unrealistic body standards, etc. And I wanted to give my take on the matter. It will mostly focus on... as the title suggest: Sex Appeal in Gaming. When it goes too far (which is rarely IMO) and when it's totally fine. Should be a fun video and maybe slightly controversial.

Starship Troopers Review (Sometime in April)

I have had a Starship Troopers review ready to post for a while but I keep getting dinged with Copyright Claims and have had to re-edit it multiple times. Meant to have it coincide with my videos on Helldivers 2 but since it's a movie review and won't perform as well, I will wait to post it shortly after another video of mine does well!

JonTron & Act Man Play & Rate Rareware Games (Late April)

I've talked about this collab a few times and because it is such a massive project, I haven't been able to finish it yet. But I am committed this month and will post it before the end of April! It will likely be over an hour long! So stay tuned for that :)

Dutch Van Der Linde - Gaming's Most Compelling Villain (April 19th - 21st)

I might start work on this video in April, though I was also considering making May my "month of Red Dead Redemption 2 Content."

Still, I've been working on some scripts for various character deep-dives of RDR 1 & 2 characters and Dutch will probably be first on the list since he is one of my favorites!

Game Studios That Shut Down (Maybe April?)

I had an idea to cover and talk about some of the most famous, well-known game developers that shut down and explore the reasons why. Thought it could be an interesting retrospective and a nostalgic dive into some of the best studios who deserved better fates.

ACT MAN TV REVIVAL!

Yes, I will finally be uploading content to the 2nd channel! Starting with a video about... why I haven't been uploading there lol

The long and short of it is that my focus has been on the main channel and I worry too much about the quality of my work. But I was going to upload a short vlog to Act Man TV to explain all of that in greater detail.

I Went To Demolition Ranch (April 10th)

The day after that vlog, I'm going to upload another vlog about my trip to Demolition Ranch in San Antonio and shooting guns with the fellas. Had a blast and wanted to show and tell you about the awesome time I had there.

While I have some other plans and ideas like reviving/shouting out The Act Man Subreddit and streaming on Twitch more, also finding a new game to stream on YouTube, I will keep these plans tentative and see what time will allow!
