August Newsletter, Upcoming Videos & Plans

Whatsup, everybody? Act Man here to give you a rundown of my plans/ideas for August. Not all of this is set in stone btw. Also, I apologize for not writing one of these last month. Trying to manage so many different aspects of life and all that, I just got caught up in it.

First things first, I've started streaming semi-regularly on Twitch again! I'll be playing a mix of different games and seeing what you guys want to watch me play most. Will likely play some Baulder's Gate 3 tomorrow (August 4th) and see how that goes!

Diablo 1 Review

To follow up on my Diablo 4 review I wanted to do the same thing I did after I reviewed COD WWII: go back to an older game in the series that I fucking loved. Diablo 1 doesn't get enough credit and it's way better than most people think. I just finished writing and recording it today so hopefully I can send it to an editor to help me out with that process. I want this video to go live in a week or less, ideally!

Why We'll Never See Battlefront 3

Working title aside, I wanted to make a video discussing why Star Wars: Battlefront 3 will likely never be made. Given how successful the 4 main games are, it's crazy to think it wouldn't be a surefire thing. I'll see if I can write and record something in the next few days.

Diablo 2 Review (?)

I do want to start reviewing entire series of games so I can feel content with that. Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 might be on the list next. Perhaps I'll be able to do a Diablo 2 review before the end of August!

Baulder's Gate 3 Video

I was thinking of doing a video on Baulder's Gate 3 cuz it's from Larian Studios and they are AMAZING game developers. I might not make a full review cuz the game is probably extremely long and it'd take way too much time to go through my normal review process for it but we will see!

React Streamers (Kind of Drama Video)

If you haven't seen on Twitter and YouTube there has been some drama around the topic of reaction content on YouTube. Wanted to make a video, maybe for Act Man TV about it. I've had a lot of my videos reacted to and I feel it's an intricate subject and I could have some good insight. Might write and record something tomorrow and send it to an editor.

More Act Man TV Videos

Now that I'm streaming more, I want to start uploading videos on the 2nd channel that don't take so much time to edit myself. I'd love to feel comfortable putting these videos in the hands of someone I can trust so I can put most of my effort on the main channel! I always want to have a part in editing my main channel content so perhaps Act Man TV will see a bit of a resurgence. But I've been saying that for years hahaha

Somehow Diablo 4 Got Worse...

I didn't expect the Season 1 update of Diablo 4 to be so universally despised by Diablo fans, many of whom defending the game when I called it bad. But Blizzard is such an L factory there are so many awful decisions made that I might have to make another video about it. After that, I likely won't make another Diablo 4 video.

So those are my current ideas/plans for this month! Thank you all SO MUCH for your continued support! I really appreciate it, especially given how disorganized and scatter-brained I can be. Thank you all! Will also put more Patreon shoutouts at the end of certain videos in the future!
