A little late to this, but absolutely loved the video my friend! Great jokes and great insights and even though it seemed very hellish at times, it makes for some great stories

Oh my god yes PLEASE look into Clip Studio Paint and ToonBoom Harmony. I remember Harmony being pretty expensive but CSP is a single payment program (with an optional subscription service oof) and it also goes on sale a lot. I really like the animation program within it, although it does take a bit to learn and get used to since it's primarily a digital art program.

I was a Premiere Premiere user since CS2 until around 2019 when I cut off from Premiere cold turkey to DaVinci Resolve. Learning a new NLE while on a deadline, while cutting a video format you've never done before (documentary). It was such a breath of fresh air being able to just simply work in an NLE and explore it all the while it just working. No crashes, no render failures, no nothing. I've been making every movie since in Resolve. The ONLY TIME I've ever got DaVinci to crash was because I ran out of VRAM in my graphics card. I had some heavy duty plug-ins going. Denoiser, Grading effects and so on and once I got to that section of the time line, I watched the VRAM graph go up and then peak and then DaVinci was halted. But, go to Proxy files for just that little bit and it's totally fine. Adobe just doesn't have the same coding or even the same quality as Resolve and I understand that's all a matter of preference. But the power behind Resolve just cannot be met by current Adobe Premiere software... ...and Resolve is only $300 for life while you must subscribe to Adobe. You will never own an Adobe product again.

Great video Noodle I totally agree with you Adobe sucks. I've used Adobe premiere for like 7 years now and the only positive experience I've had with it is when I don't have to look at it anymore

Since you mention Adobe, I had to make a 7 minute short film, in log format on our school computers, in 4K. Had no issues at all until when we were about to render the film, when Premiere decided to fucking delete the project file, and we had to re-edit the film all over again. Fuck. Adobe.
