Very Important Update regarding Patreon Tiers and Pledges

Hey everyone, been meaning to write this post for a long ass time, but I've been struggling with how exactly to approach it. Pretty sure I got it sorted now though, and seeing as how many new patrons are rolling in as of late (thank you!!) I feel this should be knocked out sooner than later.

First and foremost, within the coming weeks I am going to be removing several of the perks currently being offered, due to them not being used, a lack of interest from y'all, and/or an inability to reliably maintain them on my end. Here are the benefits being removed;

• Monthly Discord calls (Simply too difficult to get everyone together reliably and plot out a set time)
• Behind the scenes and WIP files (the update posts are basically behind the scenes posts anyway)
• Exclusive polls (I could never figure out what to do with these)
• Misc Posts (These usually get covered by update posts or on twitter)

I realize this may be disappointing to some, especially those who only recently joined, and I apologize for that. If you'd like to request a refund, just hit me up and I'll take care of ya.

Additionally, since I'll be offering less perks/rewards at every level, I feel it's only fair to overhaul the tiers. I will be transitioning into only offering two tiers; the $2 tier, and a new $12 tier. 

The $2 Tier (Rude Dude) will remain unchanged. If you're a part of this tier, you'll still have access to the discord, early video access, progress updates, and your name in the description. 

The new $12 Tier (the new Epic Gamer tier) will be functionally similar to the Rude Dude tier, but also offer your avatar at the end of the video, and merch discounts as they come in. This tier will be made available in the coming weeks, before the deletion of the $5, $10, and $20 tiers.

If you are in any tier above the base $2, you will be automatically removed from it, and must manually join a new tier to receive perks! 

When I delete the tier you're currently a part of, whether it be $5, $10, or $20, your pledge will not change, but you will not receive any perks until you re-enter a new tier. I wish there were a simpler way of doing this, but the functionality simply isn't offered in Patreon's back-end. 

You will not be charged any more or less than you've always paid until you manually change your pledge; If you're paying $10, regardless of whether you're in a tier or not after this transition, you'll still pay $10 until you make the change on your end. 

Finally, I have one more important change for everyone in the Epic Gamer tier. Because Patreon has no easy way of sending or receiving images in DMs, if I don't hear from you regarding your doodle, I will instead be drawing whatever you have set as your profile icon from this point forward. If you have a casual pic of yourself, I'll be picking standout traits (mostly accessories like a hat, hairstyle, etc), and embellishing on those. If you have a cartoon character or a sona, I'll draw that. If you have default icon, I'll draw a question mark.

I didn't really wanna do this, but it is quickly becoming unsustainable to continue reaching out to every single member of the $20 tier individually and ask that they send an image for reference. 

I'm sorry if this disappoints anyone, but in an effort to reduce my workload when making huge videos, this feels like a necessary change. As previously mentioned, if you'd like a refund, all you need to do is ask.

This is probably a bit confusing, and possibly a bit out of left field, sorry for that too. Again, these changes will not be put into affect for at least another week or two, so that everybody can get a chance to see this first.
