Not to compare but I do think it’s very much relevant to see the journey Madonna had and how much she took so that people like Gaga or Katy Perry can thrive. Katy Perry has always said even within this year that she will always thank Madonna and feels like every pop star should say thank you to her for how much she faced alone. It would be not only a deep dive into Madonna but a history lesson a bit because so much happened in her entire career even now facing ageism.

I know you have moved on from the Artpop era and I know you reacted to Do What U Want and Venus during the X Factor but I strongly recommend watching her 2013 Graham Norton episode where she also performs these songs. I understand if you don’t want to film a reaction to it at this point, but it’s a particularly adorable and funny interview of hers as she is so sweet and has great chemistry with fellow guest (the now late) June Brown. I think the slime is meant to represent amniotic fluid (birth fluid)! Love the eye makeup and aesthetic too - you’ll be glad to hear you’ll see more of that in the Judas video! There’s an interview in which she says it was inspired by the Egyptian Eye of Horus. It looks so cool with the two-tone hair.
