Lady Gaga - Coachella (2017) FIRST TIME REACTION

Shout out to Rumi & Sir, who Beyoncé announced was pregnant with at the moment for this show to happen haha. I read a quick excerpt from an interview she did last year with the LA Times where she said:
“I really wanted to be there for music fans, and at the time there was all this excitement to be able to film bits of A Star Is Born at Coachella. But I only had two weeks [to prepare for the show],” she explained. “So to design a stage, to have it made, all of those things — I didn’t have the time to totally do what I really wanted to do,” she added. “I love music. I love performing. I love music fans. And I was so excited to film pieces of our movie there. So I did it, and I loved it. But you know when you have a vision in your mind of how you want to do something? It’s time to make it happen.
And made it happen she sure did this year...a few times haha. So this one is a little stripped back than what I've gotten used to in this deep dive, but my mind was still blown. She's one of the best performers of all time.

To me a lot of the Joanne era felt this way even though her “being a little disconnected” is even better than some people best lol like this is kinda why as much as I love even her halftime show and she killed it ngl. I would still say my top halftime show to this day is Shakira & jlo. lol and I’m a little monster saying this. But it’s okay to be honest even with the artists you love. Joanne to me is always ranked last in her discography. Ironically the first time I saw her live was Joanne Ball. And again incredible lol but you could tell from the setlist she was half in it. Mind you during the making of Coachella I’m sure she was still planning the Joanne ball, so it definitely was a lot going on

I wish we had a music video for that one or made it into an album😢. I'm glad she got the oportunity to do Coachella again the way she wanted.
